Classic Bike Tour

With this bike tour you can discover Salzburg and its enchanting surroundings with your sportive Austria Guides! Known as one of Austria‘s most bike friendly cities it offers more than 170 km of bike roads.

The Classic Bike Tour starts at Mozart Square and continues to the best historical sights like the Salzburg Dom, Residence building & Festival District. Upon request we visit the Green Market of Salzburg to get some Prezels and dinks for your sporty challenge!

Following the bike path we will ride over the hill of the Fortress Hohensalzburg, we make a stop at the abbey Nonnberg. A fantastic view point overviewing Salzburg’s marvellous sourroundings. We can show you the church of Nonnberg, which was the location of the true wedding of Captain Georg von Trapp and Maria Kutschera in 1927 … this is especially for the Sound of Music-Fans among you! 

We continue into the southern district all the way to the magnificent palaces Leopoldskron and Hellbrunn.

Enjoy your ride back to the starting point along the picturesque tree lined alley way … passing by furhter castles like: Castle Emslieb, the Fronburg, Castle Freisaal and the university for natural sciences.
